About
Sarah Ann Wilson is an independent appraiser, fine art consultant, and identical twin. She is a graduate of Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia where she received her BFA in Curatorial Studies with a minor in fashion. Her appreciation of fine art blossomed after a high school field trip to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and, later, an internship with the museum's curator. She further honed her skills in research and understanding of market trends during her experience as Associate Appraiser with Art Directives, Inc in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. She then joined Rago Arts & Auction Center as a Fine Art and Estates Associate where she cataloged and assessed work for consignment purposes before transitioning to a two-year stint in Chicago working for Leslie Hindman as Head of Sale for American and European Art auctions. Most recently, Sarah managed Rago’s Trusts, Estates and Appraisals Department from 2017-2020 where she regularly performed appraisals for estate tax, donation, and insurance purposes. She is an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America in Impressionist and Modern Art, a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council (PEPC) and ArtTable, and is Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliant through March 10, 2022.
